This has been heard by Hanhart as well, the Black Forest-based manufacturer specializing in pilot watches, and today Hanhart presents another no-frills timepiece for pilots.
With the name #FliegerFriday, Hanhart dedicates their new limited edition (100 pieces) to a hashtag that has been steadily gaining popularity since its first appearance in 2015 and has become a household word on social media among watch collectors. Associated with this hashtag is the emotion of starting the weekend with a pilot’s watch.

Hanhart’s brand new #FliegerFriday Edition chronograph might be your perfect companion. And one is for sure, the new Hanhart #FliegerFriday Edition makes a statement on your wrist.
The #Flieger-Friday Edition features a royal blue dial combined with a blue ox leather strap with a suede finish and red accents which all in all give this model a unique character.
The black DLC coated case with red pushers completes the modern design. Despite the courage to use color, Hanhart‘s DNA can’t be discussed away, it is there, un-mistakable: bi-compax dial layout, asymmetrical pusher distance, large aviator crown and the red pusher.
Ano5er highlight is the Diamond-Like Carbon coating of the case which was added to combine aesthetics with performance. The deep black gives the watch a unique character. At the same time, as the name of the DLC coating suggests, the stainless steel case becomes a hard surface.
With a diameter of 42 mm and a height of 15 mm, the #FliegerFriday Edition got a certain wrist presence but it is not out of proportion. The new model is not equiped with the widespread and well known Flieger style strap with rivets). The strap Hanhart has chosen for is made of blue ox leather with a suede finish, which gives the watch a certain „lightness„ without appearing playful, it still is a tool.
Hands and numerals are coated with Super-LumiNova and ensure an optimal readability at night.
The #FliegerFriday Edition is limited to 100 pieces, retails for €2490 (incl. 19% VAT) and can be pre-ordered from today onwards. Please note that shipping will start from mid-September.
