Laco Goes Green For Their Flieger Klassik Limited Editions

Today Laco added two new watches to their Flieger Klassik line-up. With the “Augsburg Grün”and “Aachen Grün” Laco presents the fourth edition of their colored limited editions.

The “Augsburg Grün“ (Baumuster A ) and its sibling “Aachen Grün“ (Baumuster B) feature a striking green dial, polished details, and a strap in a cool vintage look. Each strictly limited to only 250 pieces worldwide and are available from now on.

These two new models join the Flieger collection in Laco’s  mechanical entry-level segment (PILOT WATCHES BASIC) continue the very popular series of previous editions.

The summer edition features a dark green dial conveying vibrancy and a Mediterranean flair. Nonetheless the straightforward typography of the numerals and indices clearly marks the new models as classic pilot watches at first glance.

The “Augsburg Grün” follows the typical type A dial pattern with hour, minute, and central second, ensuring quick and clear readability. The “Aachen Grün” features the type B pattern, with minutes on the outer ring, giving it a slightly more technical yet equally authentic appearance at first glance.

The stainless steel case with a diameter of 42 mm combines brushed and polished elements. Fine details, such as the polished bezel and the partially polished crown, distinguish the new edition from classic pilot watches, giving it a stylish aesthetic that pairs well with both casual outfits and elegant attire.

The hands, as well as the bright white numerals and indexes, are filled with the strong Superluminova C1.
Of course the watches feature a sapphire crystal. Upon request, Laco offers double-sided anti-reflective coating which improves readability, especially in bright light or direct sunlight. I am sure buyers will love the bluish shimmer of the anti-reflective coating. The display back also features a sapphire crystal.

The watches are fitted with the automatic Laco 2S movement (based on the Miyota 82S0) with a power reserve of 42 hours and it does hack.

The Laco 31 movement (based on the Miyota 8315) is optional available for those looking for a power reserve of over 60 hours, the Laco 31 comes with thermally blued screws.

A grey vintage leather strap picks up the color of the dial with its green decorative stitching. The pin buckle comes with the LACO logo engraved.

The case back is also engraved and reveals the serial number of the editions, which are limited to only 250 pieces each. These limited edition models will be available end of June 2024, retailing for €440.
