Laco, one of the original manufacturers of flieger watches, showcased three additional varieties of Baumuster “A” and “B” dials. The aged dial prototype was shown in Basel last year, and is now available in 42mm and 45mm cases.
The details about this Erbstuck or Heirloom watch is that buyers gets to decide on how you want to age your watch – uneven or even lume coating on numerals and hands, chemical aging of case, aging of strap, etc.
The bronze case flieger was a winner this year. The sandblasted bronze develops a unique character after oxidizing. The caseback is stainless steel to protect bronze from touching the skin. The bronze flieger is available in a 45mm case with handwinding and automatic movement in both Baumuster A and B type dial. All watches are priced at 1,498 Euros.
Finally, Laco showed the nice blue dial flieger. The blue dial has a sunray pattern and is housed in a sandblasted steel case. The grey nylon strap compliments the blue dial perfectly. The “Blaue Stunde” is available in 42mm with handwinding and automatic movement in both Baumuster A and B type dial. All watches are priced at 850 Euros.
